PUT on your finest neons and adorn yourself with glitter – a new kind of party is coming to town.

Rise and Shine is the newest addition to Brighton’s calendar, inspired by the success of early morning raves popping up all across the capital.

It will arrive in the city on October 4 at Club Revenge.

Founded by Simon Twiddy of Trickstar Radio and Revenge promoter Steve Jones, the event will offer “the ultimate wake-up call” through a variety of fun-filled exercise classes, rooftop yoga sessions and vegan- friendly smoothies and snacks.

The duo hope to recreate the original ethos behind rave culture but powered by endorphins, instead of the drugs and alcohol typically synonymous with raves.

Steve Jones, promoter of Rise and Shine, said: “We’re inviting people to a welcoming open space where they can have a positive start to their day.

“I think we have a generation now that shuns the need to be absolutely hammered to have fun, so we’re stripping it back to the music, the atmosphere and the vibe.

“We’re trying to reinvent what people associate with dance music but with a Brighton personality.”

All the food and drink will be vegan-friendly – and the glitter will be biodegradable.

Ravers will be able to take part in wellbeing activities across all three floors of the venue, starting the morning in the glitter makeup boudoir.

Organisers says this is, of course, optional as it may not fit with everyone’s work uniform.

They will then be able to pick up a superfood smoothie, have a dance with the morning DJs, and engage in tongue-in-cheek “sexercise” sessions – a world debut workout – run by Britain’s Got Talent’s Vince Venus.

Brighton’s famous Disco Bunny will also make an appearance.

There will be a caffeine bar and massage station on offer for those who prefer a gentler start to the morning.

Rise and Shine comes to Club Revenge, in Old Steine, from 6.30am to 10.30am on October 4.

Tickets are from £10, with the only extra cost being for drinks.
