A MOTHER of two attempted to smuggle cannabis into Lewes Prison, a court heard.
Shelley Bissett, 28, is accused of trying to get cannabis resin past prison guards.
She faces one count of bringing a substance into HMP Lewes without authorisation. The offence allegedly happened on February 14.
Brighton magistrates committed the case to Lewes Crown Court.
Bissett of Selwyn Road, Eastbourne, will appear there on October 19.
