A CONVICTED stalker sent Facebook messages to his victim, breaking a ban on contacting her.

Liam Holigan, 39, of no fixed address, knocked on Carly Dawkins’ front door and sent her messages over social media despite having previously been convicted of stalking her.

Holigan had already been given a non-molestation order and restraining order banning him from contacting Ms Dawkins when he tried to get in touch with her September.

He had been given a suspended prison sentence in June for stalking – which he also breached.

He admitted two counts of breaching a molestation order and breach of a suspended sentence when he appeared at Hastings Magistrates’ Court on Monday and was remanded into custody.

Magistrates ruled the case was too serious for their sentencing powers and he will be sentenced at Lewes Crown Court on October 20.
