Albion boss Chris Hughton has praised Arsenal for giving youngsters a chance.

Arsene Wenger took several rookies to Belarus for the Gunners' Europa League win against BATE Borisov on Thursday night.

They included 18-year-old Brightonian Charlie Gilmour.

Arsenal will be back to full strength against the Seagulls at the Emirates today (noon).

Hughton says the changes Wenger made demonstrated not just the depth of his squad but also a willingness to blood young prospects.

He said: "The team and the bench had a lot of young players. They have tried very hard to give young players opportunities to play, mostly in the cup competitons. But this was a tough Europa League game and he was prepared to give young players an opportunity.

"But it also does show the depth that they have got in the squad, and you would expect that from a team that have been as good as Arsenal have been for as long as they have in this division."
