THREE teenagers were arrested for causing actual bodily harm after a man was attacked in a busy city centre.

The man, 31, was walking home from a night out in Brighton at about 12.15am on Sunday when he was attacked, leaving him with a swollen jaw, fat lip, cuts to his nose and around his eyes.

Nothing was stolen from the man.

Two 14-year-old boys, one from Hove and one from Brighton, and a 13-year-old boy from Hove, were arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm.

After being interviewed by police they were released under investigation.

The force are now appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened in North Street.

PC Gemma Parsons, of Sussex Police, said: “Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact police online or call 101, quoting serial 46 of 08/10.”
