TV personality Katie Price was forced to cancel her one-woman show following a reported blackmail threat involving her son Harvey.

Price, who lives near Horsham, was due to go on stage in Manchester on Saturday night.

However in a message to fans she said: “Unfortunately I have been left with no choice than to postpone my show in Manchester this evening due to an urgent family matter involving the police and one of my children.

“For all my fans and for everyone that has bought tickets to tonight’s show, I am sorry to let you down last minute.

“This is something out of my control.”

The 39-year-old mum-of-five reportedly received an email which threatened violence against Harvey, 15, if she refused to pay £50,000.

They also allegedly asked for an Armani dress.

The Loose Women star is said to have contacted Sussex Police about the email and enquiries are continuing.

It is alleged the emailer threatened to release details of an affair they claimed Katie’s husband Kieran Hayler, 30, was having with a friend.

They are also said to have demanded Price arrange for the blackmail money to be delivered to an address in East London.

The former glamour model tweeted again on Saturday night, saying: “In bed can’t sleep my poor little head can’t switch off! I’m on mummy guard too.”

Katie is also mum to Junior, 12, Princess, ten, Jett, four and three-year-old Bunny.

Harvey is the son of former footballer Dwight Yorke, who had a brief relationship with Price 16 years ago.

Yorke initially denied Harvey was his but was proved to be the father following a DNA test.

Harvey was diagnosed with blindness and is also on the autistic spectrum.

Price launched a campaign earlier this year after Harvey was viciously trolled after making several appearances on TV.

She is calling for online bullying to be mad a “specific criminal offence”.
