A MAN was left with a black eye after an attack in broad daylight.
The victim was walking home before the attack in Amherst Road, Hastings, around 2pm on Saturday.
The 26-year-old man was punched in the nose leaving him with a black eye and chipped tooth.
The attacker is described as a white man, aged between 25 and 35, 5 ft 7in of slim build with dark short cropped hair.
Police are keen to hear from two women nearby at the time of the assault and a woman who gave him a lift to London Road after the incident.
Witnesses can call 101 quoting serial 831 of 14/10.
