HASTINGS based seAp has won a Charity Times Award for its ground-breaking online web app which enables people to access their expertise digitally.
The organisation was set up in 2000 to provide advocacy for people needing help to access their rights.
It beat seven other organisations – including the National Trust and Age UK – to win the award for the best use of technology.
It was received on behalf of the charity by Liz Fenton, strategic services development manager, at a ceremony in London.
The c-App was designed with software development company NeoTribe and Hastings and Rother Clinical Commissioning group.
It means that advocacy can now go national.
