A BODY has been found near a footbridge.
Emergency services were called to Adur Ferry Bridge in Shoreham High Street at 2.35pm.
They had received a report of a body of a man in the water near the bridge.
Firefighters from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service and paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service were called to the scene.
Brighton and Hove Buses suspended their BH2 services at the town's railway station.

A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: "The death is not being treated as suspicious and the coroner's officer is dealing with the incident.
"Next of kin have been informed."
