ALBION star Solly March has tied the knot with his partner.

The 23-year-old winger, from Eastbourne, posted a picture of himself with now-wife Amelia on his Instagram page yesterday declaring: “Mr and Mrs March.”

March, who has shown his worth in the Premier League with strong performances this season, put pen to paper at Hove Town Hall on Saturday to make the marriage official.

The pair got engaged in May, with Solly proposing in Dubai after Albion’s promotion to the top flight.

They are said to be having a ceremony to celebrate in Dubai next summer.

Marriage law in Dubai means the couple could not legally be wedded there because neither Solly nor Amelia are residents or employed in the United Arab Emirates city.

However, if you marry in your home country, it is considered a ‘blessing’, and couples can then celebrate in Dubai.

Amelia posted pictures of their big day on Twitter, with the hashtag “#BestDayEver”.

March’s Albion team-mates took to his Instagram post to congratulate the former Lewes FC player.

Israeli midfielder Beram Kayal wrote: “Congrats my bro.”

Centre-back Shane Duffy said: “Yes my man congrats.”

Kazenga LuaLua, who is on loan at Queens Park Rangers from Albion, commented: “My brother. Congratulations bro.”

The post received more than 1,800 likes in four hours.

Harlem Eubank, nephew of boxing legend Chris, was another delighted for the newly-weds.

The professional boxer wrote: “Big congrats bro.”

Ex-Albion goalkeeper Casper Ankergren, who now coaches youth goalies for the club, said: “Congratulations mate @sollymarch.”

March’s professional career began in 2013, two years after signing as a schoolboy for the Seagulls.

He has become a key player in Chris Hughton’s side, and was rewarded for his hard work with call-ups to the England under-21 side, making four appearances for them between 2015 and 2017.

The left-winger has also emerged as a fan favourite among Albion supporters, who were made up for their young star.

One wrote on March’s Instagram post: “Congratulations man, scoring blinders both on and off the pitch.”

Jess Brookes commented: “Congratulations to you both. Amelia looks amazing.

“Love her dress.”
