A MAN got stuck in a tree on a Brighton Station embankment after he crashed his drone.
He tried recovering it from the bushes and got stuck this afternoon, with fire crews and police being called to rescue him.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) were called at 3.40pm to the casualty, and two engines were at the scene.
A spokesman for ESFRS said the crew worked with Network Rail to make the area safe for the man to get back on the ground.
The incident caused train delays, and Network Rail South East tweeted asking people not to use drones near railway lines.
Southern Rail tweeted: "Due to a member of public getting stuck up a tree next to the railway line in #Brighton today (we're not joking), services to and from this station may be delayed by up to 10 mins."
Drones are not supposed to be used within 50m of railway lines.
