A CHILDREN’S charity is urging people to wear red and green to school or work to help raise vital funds.
Dress Yourself as an Elf day in aid of Brighton-based Rockinghorse takes place on December 8.
Those dressing up are asked to donate £1 towards the charity’s Christmas appeal.
This year it is raising money to buy specialist X-ray equipment for the specialist Trevor Mann baby unit at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
The machine will significantly improve the overall experience of premature babies, who often have to have several X-rays during their treatment.
A fundraising pack featuring ideas and activities to help make the most of the dress-down day is available from the charity on 01273 330044 or email elf@rockinghorse.org.uk.
