A TEENAGE girl is missing after leaving college in a distressed state.
Emily Newman, 14, from East Preston, was last seen on walking out of Brinsbury College at 11.30am on Monday.
Police are now concerned for the youngster’s welfare, and are appealing for information on her whereabouts.
Emily is white, 5ft 4 and of large build with long, brown hair worn in two French plaits.
She was last seen wearing a green coat with blue jeans.
Inspector Jon Carter, of Sussex Police, said: “We are extremely concerned for Emily due to her age and vulnerability. She may now be in the Worthing area. If you have seen her or know of her whereabouts please contact police immediately.”
Anyone with information should call the force on 101 quoting serial 848 of 20/11.
