FILMMAKER Richard DeDomenici has completed his "redux" version of the 1947 movie Brighton Rock - and you can watch it below.
Richard shot the film over just two days in the city using a cast of local amateur actors.
He was faithful to the setting of the original film, with the Palace Pier, The Lanes and Brighton Station among the familiar landmarks.
The finished "redux" screened at Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts at the University of Sussex last month and is now available to view on Richard's website.
The 10 minute movie features a few selected scenes from the 1947 film. Some of the male gangster characters are played by women in Richard's remake and the role of Pinkie, originally played by Richard Attenborough, is taken on by local drag kind Richard Reckless.
