RESEARCH into neuromuscular fatigue from cycling has won a University of Brighton student a top award.
Lisa Schäfer addressed the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences and the European Federation of Sport Psychology conference in Nottingham and won the Human Kinetics Student Poster Presentation Award.
Lisa, based at the Welkin laboratories at the university’s Eastbourne campus, was honoured for her “outstanding contribution to sport and exercise sciences”.
Lisa said: “It was my first national conference and so I was delighted to receive the award. It is great recognition.”
