ROTARIANS hosted an afternoon tea for senior citizens at Uckfield Community Technology College on Saturday afternoon.
About 100 guests were invited to the event organised by Uckfield Rotary Club.
They were treated to a dancing display by young pupils from dance school Universal Dance before enjoying sandwiches and cakes.
They were then entertained by Nellie Dunne and Ena Pickle, better known as The Pinny Sisters, who had guests singing along to old songs that everyone knew.
The raffle raised more than £200 which will be donated to the Children’s Respite Trust to fund support for families.
Transport to and from the party was provided by members of the Rotary Club along with taxis provided free of charge by JEM Cars, Uckfield, and a minibus from Chariots Chaffeurs.
