Middlesbrough striker Martin Braithwaite has joined Bordeaux on loan until the end of the season after just six months in England.
The 26-year-old signed a four-year contract last summer after moving from Toulouse in a £9million deal but his time at the Riverside Stadium appears to be up.
“Bordeaux is pleased to welcome Martin Braithwaite on loan with an option to buy,” a statement read on girondins.com.
“He has great qualities of speed, power and finishing.
“Martin is a warrior on the pitch and will put his talent at the disposal of Gus Poyet.”
The Denmark international has scored six goals in 21 appearances for Boro, the last of which came off the bench against Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday.
