Teenager's skull fractured in pier attack

A teenager suffered a fractured skull and jaw after being assaulted outside a pier.

The 19-year-old from Shoreham was punched and kicked in the head and face following an argument between the teenager, who was with a group of friends, and two men.

He was attacked outside the Palace Pier in Brighton at around 2.45am on August 6.

He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital where he is recovering from his injuries.
