GLOBAL technology company, Paxton has been placed 49th in The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work for 2018 list.

The company, who design and manufacture security systems, was also the only Brighton company to make it on the list.

Employing more than 300 people globally, Paxton has its headquarters in the Home Farm Road Business Centre, located just off the Lewes Road in Brighton, and manufactures all its products locally at its facility in Eastbourne.

The annual survey, run by the ‘Best Companies’ organisation, recognises organisations and managers who genuinely value and respect their employees.

The ranking was achieved following direct feedback provided by Paxton staff covering eight key areas of leadership.

Adam Stroud, Paxton’s Chief Executive said: “We are absolutely delighted to feature on the best companies to work for list.

“This is the first time we have entered so to appear at number 49 is a fantastic achievement.

“This is a wonderful milestone in Paxton’s journey.

“It embodies our ambition to be world-class in all that we do from our products and services to our working environment.

“We’ve worked hard to develop a positive company culture and to support our staff on each step of their career with us.

“Hard work, focus, investment and a good strategy are essential to the success of the company but most important by a long way are the people that work for Paxton.

“I’d like to thank all the Paxton team.

“They have been responsible for our success to date, and will continue to determine the extent of our future successes.

“We’re striving to be the employer of choice in the area and hope that our appearance on The Sunday Times Best Companies list will enable us to continue to attract the brightest and the best to join us.”
