ASPEN Pumps has been named a double finalist in the prestigious Pump Industry Awards.

The company, based in Hailsham, has been shortlisted for Manufacturer of the Year.

One of its pumps has also been nominated in the Technical Innovation of the Year category.

Fay Davis, group communications manager at Aspen Pumps, said: “We are thrilled to be shortlisted twice at these important awards and to have had both our company and one of our leading products recognised in this way.

“Our success, as a manufacturer, has been driven by our commitment to design innovation, as well as the skills and experience of our engineers, and so we are delighted that this has been acknowledged.”

Aspen Pumps is the UK’s market leader in condensate removal pumps.

It was established more than 25 years ago by installation engineers.

Its design ethos is to provide quality and reliability while ensuring the pumps can be installed quickly and easily.

The company received the Queen’s Award for Innovation in 2014.

A spokesman said: “We have a dedicated technical helpline and website able to offer full support on installation, product selection, servicing and fault finding for engineers in the field, wholesaler counter staff, architects and consultants.

“The innovation team also provides the whole sales force with training, up-to-date analysis and technical product support.

“It is this design focus which has led to the low profile MAX Hi-Flow tank pump being shortlisted.”

Following the announcement of the finalists, the shortlisted companies will now be put forward for a public vote to help decide the winners on the night.

The overall ranking, as established by the judging panel, coupled with the final number of votes received from supporters will determine the ultimate winners.
