Thousands of runners are taking part in the Brighton Half Marathon today. 

Runners hit the streets from 9am heading along Marine Parade towards Ovingdean before continuing onto Marine Drive.
The next stop is the Blind Veterans UK Centre followed by The Greenways Roundabout which will bring runners back towards Brighton on the same roads. 
The race then heads inland from the Brighton Palace Pier to St Peter’s Church.
Runners will head back down Grand Parade to Old Steine before arriving back at the seafront and heading towards Hove.
Once they reach Hove, runners will go down King’s Road heading towards Hove Lagoon.
The last stretch of the race will see runners head back down Hove Beach, taking them down Madeira Drive to the finish line.
Several road closures will be in place and alternative routes will be advised to drivers. Times of road closures are subject to change.
Madeira Drive until  6pm.
Marine Parade and Marine Drive will be closed until 11.15am.
King’s Road to West Street will be closed until 1pm.
