Woodlands Road at junction with Spring Way
A woman has died after being struck by a car in East Grinstead.
The 82-year-old pedestrian was seriously hurt in a crash in Woodlands Road, East Grinstead, on Tuesday.
She has since died.
The collision happened at Woodlands Road's junction with Spring Way at around 3.15pm.
The black Volkswagen Golf involved was being driven by a 60-year-old man from East Grinstead. The woman on foot was also from East Grinstead.
The woman sustained serious head injuries and was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, where she has since died.
Relatives have been informed.
