Albion fans have signed up for another season in the Premier League.

The club has announced a 96 per cent renewal rate among season ticket holders at the Amex before Wednesday's deadline.

The figure reflects Albion's progress during the Amex era and confidence among supporters of staying up, with eight games to go and a cushion of seven points over the bottom three.

The next league game at home to Leicester on March 31 has already sold out and Albion are on course to break their highest-ever average attendance record.

Chief executive Paul Barber (below centre) said: "These are some fantastic renewal figures and proves that there is an outstanding level of support for this football club.

The Argus: "Our fanbase is only going to grow and we are hugely appreciative for the incredible support we receive both at home and on the road."

Albion have just under 16,000 Bronze and Young Seagulls Plus members entitled to priority purchasing for all home matches, while over 7,000 fans are on the season ticket waiting list for 2018-19.

Up to 800 of them will have the chance to purchase tickets for next season.

Season ticket holders wanting to move seats for next season can from next week, although the club says availability in all sections of the stadium is "extremely limited".
