THIS is what a new multi-million pound health hub could look like.
Worthing Borough Council is hoping to create a centre including GP surgeries and mental health and community services on part of the town hall car park in the town’s Stoke Abbott Road.
Initial proposals for the £18.5 million development, originally given backing by the council in December 2016, go on display this week.
Work could start in spring 2019 with the building complete by the end of 2020.
Council leader Dan Humphreys said: “Worthing needs new, modern health facilities that are large enough to cater for our growing population and will ensure residents receive the best possible public services.
The plans go on display at Worthing Assembly Hall on Wednesday.
