IT TAKES a lot to woo the tastebuds of MasterChef judges.

But amateur Worthing chef Kenny Tutt did exactly that with ease this week as he booked his place in the quarter-finals of the BBC One competition.

John Torode and Gregg Wallace could not find faults in either of his dishes as he took Monday night’s show by storm.

The 35-year-old bank manager dished up a venison loin with champ croquette, carrot puree and a juniper sauce.

For his second course, Kenny made a fig and almond tart with Chantilly cream and spiced fig syrup.

Despite accidentally slicing his fingers a couple of times, Kenny managed to nail his two courses.

Wallace described Kenny’s venison as “as rare as a kind-hearted bank manager”.

It stunned former Masterchef contestants, who did not have bad words to say about it.

Torode called the dish “super yummy”.

Wallace said the dessert was “lovely” as both judges enjoyed the tart before putting Kenny through.

During the show, Kenny reveals he has been working as a bank manager for 15 years, but when asked by Wallace why he is on Masterchef, he declares cooking is “my passion”.

“Really good flavours, really good cooking, really good presentation,” Wallace said of Kenny’s performance.

“That fella has got it all.

“We loved it and so did our guests.”

Mouthwatering viewers took to Twitter with high praise for Kenny’s outstanding showing.

Ali Richardson said: “Think we just saw the MasterChef champ 2018 with Kenny.

“I’ve eaten and that made me hungry #MasterChefUK.”

Jack Kisby-Carroll tweeted: “Wow, Kenny’s food is restaurant quality and it’s only his day one.

“This bloke is going to go far. #MasterChefUK #MasterChef.”

Vicki Spreadbury wrote: “Kenny on #MasterChef is great.

“Food good so far and highly entertaining to watch.”

Others are even tipping Kenny for Masterchef glory.

Natalie Joann Giles tweeted: “Go Kenny.

“Not sure who I picked for the win last week, but I have changed my mind...”
