LAW firm QualitySolicitors Howlett Clarke bade a fond farewell to veteran Brighton solicitor John Brewins who retired this week.
John served the community for 44 years, joining Howlett Clarke in 2003 upon their merger with Aldrich Crowther and Wood.
As a private client lawyer, he advised countless families in Brighton and the surrounding area.
Clients praised John for his “consideration, professionalism and calm approach” and called him “courteous and efficient”,“warm, friendly and, most of all, very understanding”.
The firm threw a farewell party for John at Brighton’s iconic i360.
Champagne flowed and speeches were made following a ride up the world’s tallest moving observation tower.
Managing Partner of Howlett Clarke, Jackie Gillespie, said “John has had a career to be proud of.
“He has been an asset to this firm for the last 35 years and we are very sorry to see him go, but we all wish him a very happy retirement.
“He deserves it.”
