THIRTEEN students from across the county have experienced a life-changing week learning from firefighters.
Taking part in West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service’s latest FireBreak course, the students have spent five consecutive days on the course at Bognor Fire Station.
They have been learning about communication skills and fire and road safety.
Their efforts were recognised at a Pass Out parade attended by a proud audience of family, friends, carers and teachers.
During the ceremony, the students performed various drills that they have learnt throughout the week, including hose running, ladder climbs and first aid.
The parade was also attended by Deputy Chief Fire Officer, Neil Stocker.
