A probe has been launched into the cause of a house fire in Worthing.
Firefighters were called to the fire in the loft of a two-storey house in Salvington Road at 12.44pm this afternoon.
Six fire engine crews were called in to tackle the blaze, which was extinguished around 2.36pm.
Crews remain on the scene damping down the property.
A West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the police and fire service are investigating the cause.
