LEO ULLOA’S future is up in the air as he aims for another big finish with Albion and an end to his Premier League goal famine.

It is unclear where the Argentinian striker on-loan from Leicester will be next season.

Ulloa rejoined the Seagulls in January but has struggled for game time due to the goalscoring form of Glenn Murray.

The 31-year-old, yet to start in the Premier League for Albion, is pushing Murray hard for a place against Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday.

Ulloa’s return coincided with a run of five goals in five games for Murray.

The goals have dried up to one in six for Murray and Ulloa’s minutes from the bench have increased since he was ineligible under the terms of the loan for last month’s home defeat by Leicester.

Ulloa will be eager to emulate his strong finish to the 2013-14 season, when he squeezed Albion into the Championship play-offs with four goals in six appearances before leaving for Leicester.

Although he won the Premier League with the Foxes, Ulloa has only made 39 starts in three-and-a-half seasons in the East Midlands under four different managers.

He agreed a new deal until 2019 at the start of the season, when Craig Shakespeare was in charge, but linked back up with Albion just three months after the appointment of Claude Puel.

Ulloa scored his only Premier League goal in the last two years at Stoke in December 2016.
