More than 2,000 pupils took part in an inspirational Commonwealth Torch Run.
Students from Woodingdean Primary School; Rudyard Kipling Primary School, Brighton; Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School, Rottingdean; St Margaret Primary School, Rottingdean; Saltdean Primary School and Longhill High School, Rottingdean, joined in the fun on Friday.
The schools are members of the Deans School Sports Partnership which organises special sporting events for pupils.
Thirty students ran from Woodingdean Primary School to Saltdean Primary School, completing six and a half miles.
The children stopped at each participating school, whose pupils joined in by running three laps round the premises.
