A cyclist has had his bike stolen by a man who threw him off his bike.

The 18-year-old victim was attacked in Brittany Road, St Leonards, around 11.30pm on Friday, April 20.

He was approached by another man who demanded the bike he was riding, before grabbing him in a headlock and throwing him off.

The robber rode off on the bike, a Carrera Vendetta in grey/silver with green front forks.

The victim was shaken but unhurt.

Police described the suspect as white, in his late twenties, 5 ft 6 in, of slim build, with short mousy hair combed to the side, tattoos on the right side of his neck and down his right forearm.

He was wearing a grey jumper with the hood up, blue Nike jeans and blue/black trainers.
