PLUMPTON College is delighted to sponsor the ‘Star of the Year category’ in this year’s Youth in Action Awards.

The college is located at the foot of the South Downs in East Sussex. Established in 1926, Plumpton welcomes more than 3,500 students per year across four campuses in the South East.

The college has built a strong reputation for delivering land-based education with a wide range of courses from Entry to Level 3 and then into higher education with foundation degrees, honours degrees and masters courses for extended academic learning. It has an extensive education programme for 14 to 16 year olds who learn about food production and the countryside with full and part-time courses for adults.

The college works with several thousand employers to develop business related programmes and ensure their new entrants progress through college and develop the right skills, knowledge and attributes to enhance the performance of their business.

The awards will be held on June 24 at the Brighton Hilton Metropole on King’s Road. Business Development Manager Nick Ludford said “This is a great event to celebrate the hard work of young people. We’re looking for determined and inspirational young people in Sussex who should be recognised for showing great potential to become a fantastic adult in our society one day, either for their kindness, courageousness, skills or talents throughout their life so far”.
