These are the masked thieves behind a string of raids on Brighton businesses.

CCTV footage from a cafe has been released by the police in a bid to catch the suspects who used a crowbar and were riding a stolen Vespa scooter.

Police say the men, who have been dubbed the 'moped duo', broke in to an estate agents, a hairdressers and a cafe in the early hours of Tuesday, June 5.

During the spree which lasted from 1.30am to 3.20am, they targeted Uncle Sam’s and Woodingdean café in Warren Road, as well as Rosalyn's in Cowley Drive in Woodingdean.

Then later they broke into Cubitt and West in Preston Drove, Hyman Hill in Southwick Square.

The Vespa, believed to be stolen, was later recovered in Hassocks.

They were wearing grey hooded tops, shorts, and trainers, and also wore distinctive helmets.

Now officers are appealing for anyone with information or any witnesses to come forward.
