A TEENAGER has been handed two years behind bars after being caught with £3,000 worth of Class A drugs.
Broli Martin was found with £2,000 worth of crack cocaine and £1,000 worth of heroin in Hastings on March 5.
Officers saw him behaving suspiciously near the town’s train station and later spotted him throwing away drugs wraps in Warrior Square, St Leonards.
Unemployed Martin, 18, from Enfield in London, was charged and bailed, but then caught by Thames Valley Police for similar crimes.
He pleaded guilty to all charges and was sentenced at Reading Crown Court to two years for the Hastings offence and two and a half years for the crimes in Thames Valley. The sentences are to be served concurrently.
Judge Emma Nott said Martin would have been faced with a minimum of five years in jail had it not been for his guilty pleas.
