ROOFTOP crazy golf is coming to a shopping centre today.

Bosses at Churchill Square in Brighton have been busy designing and bringing together a course on the top of the car park in recent months.

The golf course, inspired by Brighton and Hove, will be available for shoppers to play on for the next month every day and is free.

It is not the only thing on offer on the rooftop, though.

Garden gnome hoopla is another activity available at the site, which is called Summer Greens.

The aim of is to provide a place for people to relax and enjoy themselves in the sunshine.

A series of street food stalls will be also be set up for the hungry ones, with Good Food On The Move the first to be there in the five weeks Summer Greens will be in place.

Gourmet steak and beef burgers and stone baked pizzas will be some of the first dishes on the menu.

Churchill Square centre director Mark Buchanan-Smith has been excited in the build-up to today’s grand opening.

He said: “In true Churchill Square style, we’re doing summer differently here.

“We’ve transformed one of our rooftops to give the people of Brighton a new place where they can unwind, chill out, enjoy fantastic food and really make the most of summer in the city.

“We have three food outlets lined up that we’ve never had in the centre before and that I’m sure will go down a treat, alongside our very own crazy golf course.”

The area can be accessed from the food court every day from 12pm to 5pm.

Summer Greens will be closed from July 15.
