FIRE crews were called to help paramedics remove a patient from his home.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service sent out one fire engine and one aerial ladder platform around 7.10am today to Cortis Avenue, Worthing.
The male patient was removed from the home by a crew using the aerial ladder.
A spokesman for South East Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a private address in Cortis Avenue, Worthing, at 6.20am this morning."
