A MAN is in hospital with a brain bleed sustained from an attack after a row over littering.
The victim, aged 40, was eating chips with his friends in Middle Street, Brighton, on Sunday at about 1.10am.
They saw a man nearby who threw his chips on the ground. The group confronted him about littering.
He allegedly approached the victim and pushed him in the chest. He fell back on to the pavement and hit his head, causing the brain bleed.
The Argus told yesterday how hero security guard Danny Bedran saved him from choking on the chips he was eating as he was knocked out.
The man was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton where he remains.
Sussex Police are looking for the man who allegedly pushed him, pictured above in a CCTV image.
He is in his twenties, 5ft 8in, slim, with light brown hair.
Anyone who can help should call 101 quoting serial 10 of 10/06.
