A SALON scooped a national accolade at the National Makeup Awards.
The Glam Bar based in Denton Corner, Newhaven, was crowned winner of Makeup salon of the year for the south of England.
The event was held in Manchester.
The salon only opened in February and Sammy Seagrave, 36, founder and owner, was delighted.
She said: “In the four months we have been open, we are overwhelmed by the support of our customers.
“We have lots more in the pipeline for the near future.
“We have an amazing team and I have got to say how proud I am of all my girls and what they have achieved in such sort time.
“Thank you to all our clients, to all our brides, family and everyone who recommends us and supports us”.
