A 16-YEAR-OLD girl broke her leg in a crash last night.
The moped she was driving collided with a car at 10.43pm in London Road, Brighton.
Police closed the road and an officer at the scene said a young woman had suffered a broken leg in a crash involving a scooter.
It is understood she did not suffer any further serious injuries, and she was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
When an Argus reporter arrived, a bike was lying in the road and four police cars and an ambulance were at the scene.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: "Emergency services were called to a report of a collision involving a moped and a car in London Road, Brighton, at 10.43pm on Thursday.
"A 16-year-old girl who was driving the moped suffered a leg injury and was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.
"The car driver was not hurt."
