Linda is the manager at The Greenhouse, which is run by Guild Care staff and a team of dedicated volunteers.

She said: “We recently had a man who had moved here from abroad and he brought all his flat furniture for his new home, bed, sofa, table and chairs, pots and pans, rugs and even his crockery.

“All of it donated furniture and for £500 he was able to furniture his whole home.

“You really can get all you need here, and I think it’s especially useful for people who are renting out properties who perhaps don’t want to buy brand new, but still want good quality second-hand furniture and items.

“So landlords in particular should come and check us out.”

The Greenhouse is located in Unit 2, Meadow Road Depot, Meadow Road, East Worthing, BN11 2SA and will be opening seven days a week from July 22,

It is also a great place to drop off donations as it has plenty of parking on site and the warehouse donation centre is open Monday to Saturdays from 9am-4.30pm.

Guild Care also runs a pick-up service so if you have any (fire resistant) furniture that you’d like to donate we are happy to come and collect.

So for a charity shopping experience with a difference please come along to The Greenhouse, Monday to Saturday, 9.30am – 4.30pm, 10am-3pm Sundays (from 22nd July).
