Since opening in 2003, Chestnut Tree House has provided specialist palliative care to babies, children and young people with progressive life-shortening conditions and support for their families – both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.

Volunteers and staff will attend both of the Stansted Park concerts.

Alison Taylor, Corporate Fundraiser at Chestnut Tree House, said: “We are so grateful to be chosen as the charity partner for the Stansted Park summer concerts.

“We need to raise a staggering £6,850 every day to provide all our specialist care services for local life-limited children – both at the hospice and in families’ own homes, so support from events like this is invaluable.”

Summer House Sounds is presented by live music promoters Cuffe and Taylor.

Director Peter Taylor said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Chestnut Tree House as the charity partner for the Summer House Sounds concerts at Stansted Park.

“It is important for us to reach out to local communities as much as possible when we are travelling the length and breadth of the UK to put on live events.

“These concerts set against the stunning backdrop of Stansted are going to be stunning and we hope Chestnut Tree benefit from being involved.”
