NEIGHBOURS can breathe a sigh of relief after a drugs house was partially closed.

The property in Orme Road, Worthing, was shut down by a closure order enforced by Brighton magistrates on June 27.

The tenants and visitors “made their neighbours’ lives a misery” for months.

But now only the people named on the court order are allowed to enter the premises until September 28.

PCSO Graeme Foster, from the Adur, Worthing and Horsham prevention team, said: “The occupants and visitors to this property made their neighbours’ lives a misery for a long time and I am pleased the courts have granted this order.

“This is the latest closure order obtained by the prevention team and it demonstrates our commitment to tackling antisocial behaviour within our communities and our ability to robustly take action against this sort of behaviour.

“We will be working closely with the Adur and Worthing safer community team to ensure the order is adhered to and prevent this behaviour from continuing.”
