A BUSINESSWOM AN who runs a successful card game business says there is real opportunity for growth in Sussex in the next 12 months.
Hazel Reynolds, who started Gamely in Brighton, was talking after a new report showed SMEs in the South East expect revenues and job creation to rise in the next year.
This is against a backdrop of low confidence in business.
Hazel said: “Confidence in trading conditions is still low but against this backdrop, local businesses still expect to create more jobs in the next 12 months.
“So things are certainly looking up for SMEs in the South East.
“That’s great news and so is the growing number of companies here who now export their goods and services.
“For me, this is the real opportunity for growth among our SME community.
“By selling our games on sites like Amazon, we’ve opened our business up to a global audience.
“This allows us to reach a bigger audience and sell our products to customers around the world - we’ve now sold more than 40,000 copies of our game Randomise globally.”
