A TEAM from Barclays took on the Three Peaks challenge and raised more than £12,500 for Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.
The team was made up of people from Sussex Barclays Premier Banking.
They climbed the three highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales.
Starting at Ben Nevis, they hiked a total of 37km, including 3064m (10,052ft) of vertical ascent and drove 462 miles through three countries, all within 24 hours.
Loren Charlton, marketing development manager for Barclays Premier Banking, led the challenge.
Loren said: “ There were amazing moments, moments where we wanted to cry, moments of being delirious and moments of true togetherness, but we came through for each other and completed a journey we will remember for the rest of our lives.”
