A TEENAGER has been has been selected to be part of the cricket squad at the 2018 School Games.
It is a national multi-sport event for the most talented school-age athletes at Loughborough University.
Ella McCaughan, 15, is a student at Seaford Head and is member of Seaford Cricket Club.
Ella was selected to play for Sussex Ladies this year and helped them to win the Division 2 Championship.
More than 1,400 athletes will compete across 11 sports at the School Games, five of which include disability disciplines.
She will live in a dedicated athletes’ village on the Loughborough University campus, take part in an School Games ceremony and perform in front of huge crowds of spectators.
