The Beach Boys have announced a UK tour for spring 2008 - starting in Brighton.
The legendary band who shot to fame with hits like 'Surfin', 'Good Vibrations' and 'I get Around', will begin their tour at the Brighton Centre on April 3.
They will be headed by Mike Love, although they will be without his cousin Brian Wilson the co-writer of some of their biggest songs including 'Fun, fun, fun', 'California Girls' and the best selling 1988 single 'Kokomo'.
Since their formation they have sold more than 100 million albums and in 2001 recieved a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Love will be on stage alongside another veteran Beach Boy Bruce Johnston who won a Grammy for his songwriting in 1976.
The Beach Boys made their debut 40 years ago and in 1966 produced the famous 'Pet Sounds'.
They have stayed on the circuit through the 70s, 80s and 90s and in 2006 they released 'Sounds of Summer' which sold over two million copies.
The band haven't played in the UK for over three years.
