Driver cut out of car after crash

A driver had to be cut out of a car after a crash involving three vehicles.

A Toyota Corolla, Nissan Micra and a Vauxhall Corsa collided on the A259 westbound between Bishopstone and Seaford today.

The crash took place at about 12.15pm.

Firefighters from Newhaven and Seaford attended and cut out the occupant of the Toyota.

Two other people were also taken to hospital by ambulance.

Sussex Police closed the road for it to be cleared. A spokesman said none of the injuries were thought to be life threatening.
