Aftermath of vehicle fire on the A23 yesterday
A SHOCKING picture shows the aftermath of a car fire on the A23 which saw part of the road closed.
Emergency services were called to the A23 at Pyecombe yesterday at around 5.30pm.
The road was closed southbound which caused long delays for motorists while fire crews dealt with the blaze.
The incident was reportedly cleared by around 7pm.
Sussex Police has been contacted for comment.
