Drivers are experiencing long delays after a car crashed into traffic lights, knocking them out.
The accident happened at about 7am this morning on the A27 at the Sussex Pad junction at Shoreham.
Officers from Sussex Police have sealed off the westbound filter lane for Shoreham Airport while investigations are carried out and the area is made safe.
The lights are currently out of order and long delays are expected.

How on earth can you crash into traffic lights on that part of the road? Were they drunk, speeding or just plain stupid? These are the drivers that should be banned for a long time - get them off the road.

Lets now wait for the complaints about the Police shutting bits of the road.

OK big balls you seem to know it all or are you to dumb to know that possibly after the dry conditions on road followed by a shower of rain the driver may have hit a grease patch and was unable to avoid colliding with traffic light
