The cyclist killed in an accident on the A23 yesterday has been named.
Marie Vesco, 19, died at the scene after a collision involving two silver Ford vehicles on the southbound carriageway.
The French student had been cycling with a group of friends to join a protest in Brighton against weapons manufacturer EDO.
More than a dozen police cars and four fire engines were called to the scene near the Hickstead junction, by Burgess Hill soon after 3.45pm.
One minute's silence was held before the protest.
